I have my engine out of car. I need to remove the engine support and heat exchangers off motor to put on another engine. Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks,
Buck

What is the engine resting on now? If it's on a stand, it's pretty straightforward. The tricky part is getting the exhaust bolts off. A thin walled 1/4" drive socket usually does the trick. Careful that you don't break off the studs. Penetrating oil helps get things going.

Get it on an engine stand or at least a foot off the ground. 1/4 inch drive 12 or 13mm socket and 6 inch extension are needed for one of the nuts . The rest are not too hard to get to.

how did you drop the engine? with a jack, furniture dolly, engine crane, or is it just sitting on the floor? a little more info would help. because without it, i would use sockets and open end wrenches.
