Hello,

Does anyone know where the white wire belongs?

Thx in advance.
GeorgeRud
Does your car have an oil pressure gauge? I think that may be a sensor wire for an oil pressure sender.

That wiring is hacked. Wrong colors everywhere. Trace each wire back to its point of splicing and see what colors are there. Or, you could check each wire for continuity at the ecu plug according to pb anders djet website.

All type 4s have oil pressure senders and lights.

Looks like a makeshift ground.

I think it goes to the ejection seat.

What year is your car, not that it matters as the harness is obviously hacked.

Either AAR or Thermotime switch I think the AAR is red though.

Thermoswitch is here. http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1397490.jpg
