I think it's been hammered here before*....current thread on Facebook
*I think I mentioned creating a gofund me type account to buy all of these atrocious rebodies and convert them back to stock or proper kits fitted, even a Chalon would be an upgrade.

That's no longer a 914, it's some sort of Frankenstein monster.

I believe that is a Crysche 300M. Brings tears but the wheels are cool.
Can't believe how much $ was spent on it because of the fit and finish.

I admire people that can craft and build their dream, a lot of effort goes into making something in your head to design and there it is moths or years later. "Peoples car to Porsche". I've seen many altered 914's I didn't like, but all are someone's thought, effort, and time.

Just think of it as another "hot rod" design dream. You can only hope it made the people who worked on it happy.

Wow. Great craftsmanship. He spent a ton of time doing that. It looks Like he started in 1990 with those Ferrrari grill and finished about 2 years after the first Cars movie came out...

I think ya'll are missing the point here - the 914 platform is very versatile. This is just another example. Here's some slides I did for an off the wall presentation showing the 914 as the original "transformer". When you look at all the examples - I don't think any other automotive platform even comes close.

The car looks very happy, with it's smile. I just hope the guy that did this is happy with it. I think I prefer the red cellulite car over the smiling fish face though.
