trying to install a Rennshift. can't get past step one -- not a good sign. anybody know how to remove a MOMO shift knob? I see no set screws and it won't budge with a 15mm wrench and a hammer (trying to pound it up and off the shift stick). HELP

unless someone added a thread to your lever, it's not screwed but rather just slid over.
can't hurt to try unscrewing first ...

they may have used glue or JB-weld to hold it in place tho sad.gif

I sent you mail...

Often there is a cover at the bottom of the knob (maybe etched with MOMO) that screws on to cover the set screw. Try grabbing the lowest part of the knob and screwing downward to get the cover off.

Momo's have the the cover over the set screws....like JA said, twist off the Momo cover under the knob and then the tree set screws....allen headed metric of course.
