Congrats!...Nice looking car. Now you'll get the onslaught of jokes on already having it on jackstands! The pic with the cooler looks like you have a custom exhaust/header setup..how is it put together?

Thank you all for the warm welcome
Jim,
The header is a "Hunter" (either Terry or Harry or something like that). It has a custom Bullet exhaust. The guy I bought it from used to autocross it locally and some tracks up north (LA area).
I plan to autocross it as well with the PCA here in San Diego. Hope it does well.
Funny about the jack stands
I've done nothing but work on this car for the last 3 weekends.

Welcome. Great looking car, a few performance mods, but it still looks clean and original. That's the way to do it - stealth.
Hope you learn to AX is quickly and start kickin some butt in San Diego...

I run in CS, due to non-stock swaybars. I should get stickier tires. Running Azenis right now.
Your swaybars look be stock so you could probably be in CSS.
6 bolt CV joints on the car. Interesting.

Mark,
The car is setup to run in the CP class... The 6 bolt CV joints is a nice upgrade from the PO. He must've gone through a few stock CV joints
I'm changing the tranny and engine fluids this weekend... It should be ready to run by the end of the month, hope it comes back in one piece

Funny you mention it... The 914 has taken over most of my free time and most of my available funds. My girlfriend and friends are not very much amused
They just don't understand

The previous owner was B. A.
Not sure what MD means... ??
