See attached photo. This is the top of the rear part of the window channel that is attached to the Sail/rear panel.
Does anyone know the part number of this piece? Is the way this is cut at the top (fairly crude/rough) standard?
Is there a cover/end cap?

Have you tried going on the Porsche website, under their Classics section, Documents subsection to download the FREE pdf 914 PET parts manual to look up the part no.?

It should be in there, & the PET is an invaluable resource for all Teeners (for those also reading here).

914 559 017 10 /L
914 559 018 10 /R

The covering plates (914 559 017 10 & 914 559 018 10) are the flat pieces that go from front to rear edge of the roll bar. The number you have (914 547 029 12) is a window guide rail inside the door. If what you need is the part holding the weatherstrip they are 914 531 827 10 (LH) and 914 531 828 10 (RH). Clamping Piece. No finishing cap, but on mine the weatherstrip comes up further to meet up with the tops horizontal seal.
