Ran mismatching air filter housings as I had a top plate but was missing a base plate. 5 years of posting wanted ads and monitoring eBay...finally found a base plate to complete my pair!

I didn't realize that as a rare part. Had those on my previous 6 conversion and considered tossing them for a different configuration.

I have a set of those old air cleaners with the springs. Had them for years.

They're not the best as the springs aren't strong enough to make sure the filter stays flush against the outter lip (at least with mine). Definitely prefer the cast aluminum and screws.
