I bought pictured tool, 2-3 years ago, from a group buy here.
I thought it was for the strut and/or castle but for the ball joint.

As you can see, it doesn't fit for neither application.

Anybody knows/remember what's it for?

Thanks!

It is for turbo tie rod installation. Are you needing a ball joint nut tool?

Thanks, but what is the cast nut style end for?

Yes, I'm looking for a ball joint nut tool, since I want to use a torque wrench.
Did find out that a 2-1/4 Dodge tool should do the job.

What's your take?

Also, any recommendations about the strut nut?

It's for removing the stock tie rods, then reinstalling the turbo tie rods.

Yes I found the Dodge spindle nut tool. It is a littl too big so I lined it with magnetic tape to keep it centered. I use it with an impact to remove the ball joint nuts. some are rusted on so tight I have to cut them off.

They may have changed the design. I got mine at O'Reilly for about $12. This like shows a more simple one that does not center on the part.
