I'm using a Sony CDX-GT23W. No ipod connection, but it does play .mp3 discs. And it was already sitting on the shelf . . . .
Click to view attachmentIt looks OK, though maybe a little modern. If I were starting from scratch, I might go with something that looks a little more "period correct," maybe a retrosound Becker look-alike unit.
