it's funny how people with different hobbies talk about different things. here is an actual post from a 4x4 forum i belong to in Colorado.
debating how valuble credit is...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so, ive really been thinking lately. Ive got a good credit line, and could cash advance almost $20k. im poor as a cross-dressing crack whore, and honestly, if i had $20k i think i could really take it somewhere. living pay-check to pay-check sucks, and they never cover even the costs of living. I could use it to invest with, or just plain take it and run. Launder my expenses and if all else fails i could just claim bankruptcy right? people do it every day, so if i dont care about buying a house or even having a credit card after bankruptcy (even though it is still possible) whats to keep me from doing this? Living in this society i really cant go on like this, even $10k would change everything.
in a reply further down he says:
another driving factor is the "harm to benefit ratio"
the harm i would be causing to the creditors ($20-$30k is hardly a dent in their wallets) is absolutely not comparable to the abundance of benefits i would recieve. Karma is still in my favor i think.
actually the
whole post is pretty entertaining.
