I'm going to enlarge the fog light switch hole; ignition switch will be installed there . Question is can I remove the left side dash face without pulling the steering assembly. I've read that the late (75 - 76 ) dash faces differ from earlier years. Currently the dash face is covered with leather.
Picture shows the area; not using the 911 switch, but plan to use sixnotfour's modified 914 switch.

The 76 piece ,is very flexible ,,I made a pilot hole , then pulled it away and enlarged the hole to what I liked..scary stuff ..

this was the first trim , I have since enlared it more like on OG six.
Jim, its way easiest to doit all at once..

As you can see from the metal, unless you cut it (which you could do) you would have to do at one time. I think you could do it.
