I am looking at a commercial generator that runs off of liquid propane.
I have the fuel consumption rating for the generator.
However, it gives the rating in cubic feet of vapor per hour.
How many cubic feet of vapor does one gallon of liquid propane make at say... room temperatore? 70 degrees?
I am finding some conflicting info on the net on this topic.

I have one source that says 36.39 cubic feet
here...
http://www.altenergy.com/propaned.htmAnd another that says... 1000 cubic feet per gallon...
http://www.chesmontengineering.com/propanesys.htmSo which is it?
That's a big difference...

if you read the second website again, it says:
"One gallon of propane liquid will produce about 270 gallons of propane vapor in the air"....so that would equal ~35 cubic feet according to my calcs.....

That's what I sorta deduced... crap!
Based upon the other measurement... I was stoked about a generator for the house.
1 gallon = 1300 cubic feet! Wow!
But never mind!
