KBSG (97.3) radio station is organizing the Car Show. This is the 5th year they have put on a car show. They have prizes and T-shirts.

It would be cool to having a bunch of 914s show up at the car show.

lando, across the bridge to I-5 south, to east on hwy 512, 512 is about 8 miles south of where hwy 16 and I-5 meet. south hill mall exit off 512, the mall will be on your right. my house is about 5 miles away from the sears store. the yard exploded with color while i was in california. if anyone would like to stop by let me know and i'll post directions in this thread.

You could also exit I-5 at the Emerald Queen Casino, keep to the right and follow Pioneer in the back way.

I will hopefully have that day off. It is about a 5 minute drive for me!

hmmm.. this sounds interesting. Dino and i could car pool, though i don't have a cool trailer to haul the grillables!

i have one of the little webber(weber?) grills. byob, byom, stop by. i've used most of my 914 "want to go and do" tokens for awhile. jeanne may want to go and look at the cars for a little bit. i'm not into standing in the rain . directions as follows:

get back on 512 west (towards I-5). take the first exit, Canyon Rd. turn left on Canyon, towards Fredrickson. forward to 128th st e, there is a landscape supply company on the right, and turn right on 128th. forward to 40th ave e, about 1 mile. right on 40th ave e. 6th house on the left, house is yellow and brown with a circle drive and blooming plants everywhere.

My car is no show car ... it's a "go" car.

With the multiple paint colors/tints and ill fitting fiberglass, I don't know if the would let me display.


I'm trying to get it down to a "3-color car" (white body, orange stripe, black interior/engine bay/trunks).

When I bought the teener it had about seven colors:

- originally yellow (sunrise?)
- repainted blue (old)
- one orange door (L20E)
- repainted white (when the FG flares were done)
- red primer rear trunk
- red mirrors
- black front trunk

Maybe see you there.

Hey rhody, where's that pic at???? That was a fun visit yesterday. Went home to find #1 loose too, and then i replaced the aux air valve hoses and installed the missing press. reg. vac. line. Runs like a champ now! Had it upto an "unmentionable speed" on the freeway today during the CFTC on the way home. Amazing what i little extra fuel press. will do for ya!

My wife has planned a birthday party for me on Friday, and I'll probably not be able to attend, due to the obvious reasons...

On Saturday, I'm going over to Kevin's to look at rhodies, azaleas, and etc... then instead of the Puyallup car show I'm going to Federal Way for the Oval's Motorsport swap meet.

The Puyallup show sounds nice, but I'd rather look at Ovals and Ghias and a Microbus or two... maybe even canoe the Canab River for sentimental reasons.
