Maybe I can get some help here. I need to find a reasonable place on a new or rebuilt turbo for my 01 New Beetle. The curent set up is a K03. I have tried other boards but all I get are stupid responses and the recommendations to to upgrade for $3000 more..
I dont have the part number yet but I am looking at around $400 (ebay) to $1000.

I have a friend that owns Michigan Turbo in Grand Rapids. Get the part number and I'll source it for you.

Per a couple of VW dealerships and it does sound right:
Turbo is KO3-053 or 058
06A 145 704 LX
06A 145 704 S (sport) same as the above but with more blades. I would like this one if price is similar.

Durabuild rebuilds our turbos.. Ill have to look for the number tomorrow..
