I have fiberglass flares and I have 7" and 8" (Euromeister replicas) running 225X50X16 front and 245X50X16 on the rears.

Your looking for a tire with @ 25" diameter. I prefer an inch to 1/2" wider than the rim to limit rash. Good luck with 15" rims. I went with 17's to give me a decent street tire selection.

Toyo r888 are made in 205/50 15, 225/50 15 and 235/50 15

F-205x55x15 on 7" wheels
R-225x50x15 on 8" wheels
1" spacers behind the front wheels to fill out the flairs.

There are lots of ways to tire your care but Eric Shea recommended this size to me and I've driven 914's and 911's with this combo and it works. The staggered setup keeps the steering nice and light but still "right".

I run 205/55-16 on 6"
and 225/50-16 on 7"
Stock Boxster wheels and tires.
Little bigger than stock 914 but fills out the fenders nicely

* Not on a flared car, just for sizes.
