Hi,

Starting a transmission rebuild for my 914 side shifter. Any one have advice on where to buy parts like synchro rings, shift sleeves etc. Seems like the costs of parts is all over the place but not sure of the quality of a $315 shift sleeve verses a $425 one with the same part number.

Also have seen part number # 911.302.301.08 listed as an upgrade for a 911.302.301.06 synchro ring. What is the upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a bunch of used parts and spare trans. if you need something just swing by and pick through my parts stash. Most parts are cheap to free!

I do not have new syncro rings but I have about 20 you can pick though for free.
