My insulation mat under the carpet is in fairly good shape,it has a few cracks in it which are easily fixed, problem is that the edges have curled up 2 to 3 inchs around the edges.
Can it be returned to flat or is it this way forever ?,TIA

I plan to use a Sika black body sealer to fill the cracks,I have used this product to repair weatherstrips and other rubber parts ,very good product for this application.
Will report back on results.
