I was planning on using these but I've decided to run stock OE rods on my 74. According to Jake, these were sourced for a customer's engine that was never built.

Selling at a highly discounted price. Paid 1K.

$400.00 plus shipping

Open to reasonable offers, no trades.

I'll buy them back. Email me at jake@jakeraby.com

I did not see either of the PM's until just before 10 PM last night. You offered $350 and Jake $400, my asking price. Which of the 2 offers would you have chosen?

Sorry, not trying to be a jerk. Had you said you'd take them at my asking price, they would have been yours, even if Jake had offered me more. And yes, I find it best to reply to a thread and send a PM. If you still feel I was unfair, let me know and we can take it off-line.

Greg

I Think I would have said no the price is 400.00 + shipping
That would have gave me a choice since I messaged you first.

Fair enough.

Not interested in ganging up on anyone but I have had dealings with Greg in both directions and he is very fair and a stand up guy.
KeithVonLaws
I do not doubt that Greg is a stand up guy....
His character is not in question.
I was hoping for a response back to my offer
because I need them for my build. Id be happy
to pay the asking price too. I try to sell all my
items on a first come first choice basis.

mepstein
If you really needed them, you should have offered his asking price. It was already a gift. There is no first come, first serve rule on this site, especially if you are not paying what the seller is asking.
madmax914
Greg is one of the fairest guys you will ever work with. Highest and best offer wins out over first come first serve, especially if first come is below asking price.
