11y.o and she's still game. you can take the dog out of the hunt, but you can't take the hunt out of the dog. it's a classic when she picks up one of her front legs while o.p.. we have a number of short tailed squirrels on the property.

Duke is 8, and as my dad tells people, at about 6 they are like hyperactive puppies (of other breeds), and at 16 as active as 6 year old dogs of other breeds.
