I'm going to install a set of Boge (S) struts off a 84 Carrera on my 75 914.
The 87 struts will fit, you just need the late style ball joints.

Might have finally located a set that wasn't $$$$$$. Most 911 guys up here think their used stuff is priced at 75% of new.

So you probably wouldn't want to hear about the entire 911S front suspension with brakes that I bought from a wrecking yard about a dozen or so years ago for $250. Did I mention when I got it home and cleaned it off, I discovered I had gotten alloy calipers and Koni struts?
