Need board help to identify the shocks I have. Are these suitable for my V8 conversion?

Or do I need better?

The shocks are:

Fronts: Koni Adjustable P/N 1027 05 13 42 708 (are these sports?)

Rears: Koni Reds P/N 82K - 1722 (non adjustable, I think).

Any help identifying would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill P.

If you look futher on the rears, you may see an arrow with "Heavy" stamped behind it....PN#s look like "old collapse to adjust" Konis.

Hi Ron,

Yep, the rears have the arrow "heavy". So they are adjustable huh?

Yup, those with at least 180's will do just fine. I should know. biggrin.gif

Old hydraulics? Thats what I have, pleanty of shock.

Going with adjustable pearches would be a good idea (always want to get the stance and clearance correct, or else it looks funky, and rubs on radiator hoses or something) and AT LEAST 180's (I'd say 200-250... or 180's with a rear sway bar..) Because if you have anything better than a stock sway bar up front (Ie more t bar/more sway bar) then your going to be pushing at low to moderate speeds, and it sucks for driving around town...)
