Should I rebuild my current motor, or just buy one of Jake Raby's motors? Is 2 grand enough for one of his motors?

no, 2k won't get one of Jakes kits IIRC... let alone an engine by jake... they are worth every penny, but quite a few pennies...

a proper rebuild will *probably* cost almost 2k... in parts + getting the heads done

if you go cheap on the rebuild, you'll be doing it again, likely... I paid about 2k for a lightly used rebuild... look around and try to go this route... if you want to keep it simple and as cheap as possible... the classifieds here and pelican have rebuild engines in the 2-3k range every now and then...

2K won't even get you a kit..... Go puke and post after 72 hours.
