I am confused on this. Don't the windshields just sit in with urethane?

Kinda off topic but how the heck do you get these damn things in? I tried to replace the rear targa window seal and ended up mangling it. Tried oil, silicon, Teflon, soap and water and couldn't get the damn thing on. owned.gif
