is it a beep-beep?

or something in between?

my Jeep has a sissy horn (think beep-beep), the porsche is a little more oomph (think beep-beep and honk blended together to a smooth puree' of sounds)

A good upgrade is to move to a 944 or 911 horn. The 944 is just a loud attention getter which our little cars need. And the 911 is a more sports car sounding horn.

not that there's anything wrong with that.
so my "gay" beep-beep is normal?
it has a japanese sounding quality to it.

the 914 horns are 1 at 335 Hz and 1 at 400 Hz.
i donno which is mounted on which side...
'70 911 T&E use a single 335 Hz horn
some other models (i donno what 'CH' designates, unless it's Switzerland, which seems unlikely...) use one 400 Hz (L) and one 500 Hz ® 'fanfare' horn.

I don't know dude.... The horn in the Miata sounds totally weenie. The horn on my 914 (no idea if it is original or not, but it does have 2 noisemakers both functioning) is much better.
I'd still like something more though, but it's not bad enough to warrant fixing it.

Who needs a horn when you've got a finger?
