Fuel tank sock comes out the bottom of the tank. If you remove the steering rack cover on the bottom of the car there is an access hole you may be able to get at it through.
I've always just pulled the tank.

Send the injectors to mr injector. He has cleaned over 100 injectors for me. Great price and service.

I soaked my injectors in gasoline overnight. It seemed to work; I tested them before and after.
I tested them by removing them from the car (I have a '72) hooking up a 9V battery and listening for the clicking.

Pulling the tank is a bit of a chore, but once it is empty, it's easy. I drained it from the back of the car into a pan.
With the tank out, you can clean underneath it.

It is important to clean this, so don't get discouraged and leave it.
This will stop your car from running...

Instead of cleaning, get a new one from Tangerine Racing. Yours is over 40 years old and they are not expensive.
