It's not often that an original racing 914/6 GT comes up for sale.....serial #914 043 1571. Anyone want to take a guess what the price is?

I know this car. It was owned by my friend Howard Dehaven who use to own rennsport werkstat in Tulsa. I can tell you his selling price was not what is listed in that ad. Not even close!

The figures come from William Noon, who might have been interested to communicate a higher price ...
Who knows.

If anyone has that lid release handle and is willing to lend me one ..... with a deposit of your choosing.... , I can reproduce it in a molded black plastic material that is identical and is just flexible enough to withstand repeated pulls to the stop w/o breaking. Then sell it to us guys that need it.. or is Mikey ahead of this thin curve?
