Hi Folks,
As part of my preparations for repainting my new to me '71 914, I need to take the headlight assemblies out of the car. I've read the Haynes manual and attempted a search of the archives here, but I'm unable to find a detailed description of the process. I would appreciate any input from the knowledgeable folks on the forum. I find it's much easier to ask for help than it is to fix something I've really screwed up. TIA
Cheers--Jesse

He Jesse, the light assembly comes out after removing the three allen bolts outside head light box (picture) and then two of the same inside front fender. Need to move the motor arms and motor, eye brows just pop out. Best, MarkClick to view attachment
