This is the strangest thing. I put one of the end cover nuts in my pocket this morning, when I grabbed my keys and change. I looked at it closely, and it appears to have a helicoil kind of insert inside!

It seems very unusual. Is this normal?

You sure it's not a very old, burnt up nyloc with a dark crusty plastic insert?

I'm sure. it's a shiny metal insert.

The side cover nuts have it too. Strange stuff.

I don't have my manual handy... anyone know the torque value for these nuts on the end and side covers?

(Guess I'm not going to find shiny replacements at my FLAPS. They look pretty solid, so I'll reuse them.)
