Hi Everyone,

Primarily when I put the car in reverse I hear a strange vibration/noise when I am letting the clutch out. I'm not 100% sure, but I may hear this sound a little when I am releasing the clutch in 1st gear. In both cases the noise stops when the clutch is released. I don't hear it in clutching to other gears.

I'm hearing that this could be a throw-out bearing issue. I know this isn't much info to go on, but have you all ever encountered this issue?

Thank you for any help, Ross

Put the car in neutral then apply and fully release light pressure to the pedal.
If there is a noise that comes and goes as you do this it is most probably a noisy TOB

Thanks Rgalla,

I listened to a few youtube videos last night and it definitely sounds like a TOB problem. Now I just need to get the $ to fix it. smile.gif

Take care, Ross
