I need some basic stuff:
plugs, wires, cap, rotor, brake pads, oil filters
Is pelican the best source? Any suggestions?

The local foreign autoparts place seems to carry all of the basic stuff.

for plugs and wires, www.sparkplugs.com had some pretty good prices.

I got all of my tuneup stuff from Pelican. Their prices seemed competitive and I wanted to stay all Bosch.

Go to your local German auto parts place, they have a lot of what you will need. There is Performance Products, Auto Atlanta and Pelican for the rest. I have only purchased from Performance products a couple of times and got excellent service from them.

We've bought stuff from Performance Products and Mid American Motorworks. Both places had great service (though I liked Performance better) plus Performace sends 5 or 10% coupons every season.
Vertex is cheap, but I can't say they're the best.
