I was thinking What about a page that listed vendors and shops that people had good or bad experiences with organized by location. For example... I want to get my car painted... I search the page for local shops where people had cars painted and see their comments. Also, I would see if a club member in my area paints. I am always sceptical about buying or getting a service w/o a referral.

I've had great non 914 luck with S&D Nissan (all cars foreign and domestic) in Anaheim, CA. I recommend this shop to everyone who has a car problem. Not cheap (but not expensive either), but great service and always done right.

Car wise, I don't have too many other recommedations... BUT BEER WISE .....

Sooner or later... we have been gathering this type of info for s few years now.
