I'm looking for an OE dash trim backing plate for the radio (see the picture below) for my 74 restoration. It's specific to a later Blaupunkt with the rectangular plastic bezel.

Thanks!

Greg,
I can fix you up with a bare one.

Greg, good afternoon. Is there anything here that you can use?

I think Greg is looking for the face plate which came on 75-76 cars. They are molded plastic, not vinyl covered metal like on earlier cars.

Molded plastic one only works with a Motorola Sapphire radio and was only available with basket weave pattern.

914Rubber sells one that used double-side adhesive tape. Just bought a blanking plate one last week to cover the hole.

Greg, the plate you wanted is in the usual spot next to the garage.

This is the one you want at AA.

Can't get the link to work just search radio faceplate on their site.

You want the one for '75 -'76 with the early basket weave material, I have bought several of these from them for the exact application you need. Just be sure it is the one with the smaller holes for the radio shaft and larger cutout for the plastic trim.
