anybody have a link to a step by step on replacing the shifter bushings in a side shifter 75er.

The one I'm most familiar with is the tech article over on Pelican:

I've got them all for $25 if you need them. The shift rod ones included.

That one over on the bird is for a tail shifter. Thanks Mike I got the whole shebang from over at the Bird. I will keep you in mind for future stuff though..old habits....

The Pelican article is not for tail shifters, read more closely.
