Hooters seems to be the traditional SoCal gathering place and it's fine with me. I like low-key informal places where I can relax.

I don't eat meat, so I don't have to worry about the food too much.

My favorite place here is Pancho's:

If you don't eat meat there's a decent vegetarian resturaunt nearby Hooters. Somehow though I don't think the 914 crowd would fit in all that well... My wife is a vegetarian so I'm getting to know a bunch of those places around LA. There's also a raw food resturaunt in Santa Monica which just scares me.

You going to make me read the entire thread? When is it and where? I got lots going on and Santa Monica is about an hour away from here. But if you can make your way down to the OC we can take a ride in the Chalon. I know its not quite like yours but it's my little toy that I have been building. It will go at least 50 or 60 MPH. We could do Joe's Crab Shack down in Newport. Great food.

Sounds like Toast and Dan are the only ones who 'may' make it so far. Time and location will be up to them, but if we get together, it will be tomorrow night in Santa Monica.

I'm not going to be able to leave Santa Monica for the time being. I'm on perpetual stand-by.

I'm sure my work is going to stabilize soon. Then I'll be able to come down to OC.

I have just been informed that tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am going to Orange County tonight! Joe the last time you and I tried to hook up was Valentine's Day.... How about scheduling a trip to SM that is not a holiday! I am in for your next visit and will carpool with Toast or any of the Inland Empire group that wants a ride. Got a Yukon with three row seats.... Give my best to Lauren and the RS!

PS the food at Hooters sucks, but who cares.....

I'll be in Orange on Sunday as well.....PM me with a cell # and you can do a drive by slapping....
