I looking for a replacement steering wheel for my 1973 914. I am tall and when I sit in the car, the steering wheel in it now (an older Momo type, I think) is just above my legs. I am looking for something that will give me a little more room. Does anyone know of a good option?

If it is a Momo (or uses Momo hub), I have a JWest eccentric spacer in my 911. Moves the wheel upwards about 1/2".

I found that a small wheel blocked seeing the gauges. I'm back to a stock wheel.

You could always go to a smaller momo. I'm running a 350mm momo. Love the size. Check the back of your momo for a size stamping.

Here is a 320 with offset mount. D shaped wheels can give you more leg room too.

Sweet vintage 325mm.

thank you all for these excellent suggestions. I didn't realize that an offset mount existed as an option.

And bring it closer to you with a spacer, that helps too.

You are in Mass, so I can offer you a stack wheel, and some other old ones to try
