If you run down a dead end....these guys can make you one.

http://car-bone.pl/tags/porsche-decals/

Just take a good pic and send it to them.
I got one back that looks great.
And the price wasn't too bad.

They are located in Poland, but don't let that scare you off.
They are reputable.
Search for them on the Early S registry.
They do tons of stickers.
Custom for sure.
I had them do 2 or 3 for my car.

car-bone is real good, below is the 914 version they sell for $8 but it's not the same as what you have. Likely it's ROW (or 911) and yours is US market only. If you take a real good photo they will reproduce yours, might be an up-charge, but sometimes it's not huge especially if he decides to add it to his line.

Does anyone offer an acurrate reproduction of this decal for a 2.0L car?

I would be interested as well. One of my cars is an early '72 and the decal states seat positions as: 2 + 1

Interesting that the capacity was 155LBs more on the 2+1 years. It did not have the center seat belt though.

I had Car Bone reproduce one just like this with the 2 + 1, so it's likely still in their system.

Jeff -

IIRC Gearge at AA has them in stock, or used to. Just call them. They also have a bunch of the other stickers available, including the red on silver 91 RON fuel one which goes on top of the pass-front fender in the F trunk.

Kansas -

As for the 2+1 - IIRC that the had to include the 3rd seat belt with that rating (at least in the USA under DOT rules), so a DAPO may have removed the extra center belt set. The 155 lbs. extra was the KG equivalent for the extra passenger, & likely well within the actual full capacity for the 914s, since the -6 2L engine added about that much weight, & a bit more for the 908 -8 in the 2 specials built for Peich & Porsche as "gifts," & for the heavier steel roof + slightly heavier 2.4 & 2.7L 6's in the dozen or so 916s.

Our 914s were the typical Porsche over-design for safety margins, future racing, etc. that they do & did back then.

Thanks Craig but I'm looking for the 2.0L version.....the 2.0L decal indicates the correct HR tire speed rating. The SR tire rating is for the 1.7L cars. The VR rating is for the 914/6 and 911 cars.

Craig, yours also has a typo in the second line - "Veh. cab." Rather than "Veh. cap."
