Sell my house, quit my job and travel the country doing autox's.
'Course I'll need a truck to haul it with.

That looks pretty cool, my only question is, the thing is designed to haul toys, not a car, is it long enough to fit a 914 on? That would be the queston I would be asking. I would also bet that it will go for around 20k or so.

Nah....I'm seeing the enclosed ones go for like 12 to 15K....I emailed the seller to see what the bed is rated for. I believe the ebay one retails for like 8K....
I'd like to get my kids into Go Karts and Willow has a nice track...only two hours from home and Granny lives 20 minutes away....

That looks a bit small for a 914, but maybe.
Where would you put the Go Karts if you used the toy hauler for the 914?

Weld a deck above and throw the Karts up there....

Make them drive the Go Karts to Willow while you tow the 914.

Karts will outrun and out corner the Teener....buy 4 karts....You need what they used to call the Super America Kart.....125 MPH....lap times at Riverside were equal to the CanAm cars.

Dan: Nice Trailer. I used to go to Glamis every other week with Inland Empier Off Road Ass.
Mike: I'm am currently looking at 26 or 28 foot enclosed trailers.
I think I can get 2 in and give me 2 more covered parking spaces and take 2 cars with me.
Pull it behind the coach.

i've got a 1996 28ft weekend warrior that i haul my jeep in when i go wheelin.
there great everything is secure while traveling. and lots of room.
the newer ones have longer ramps, and you can always build support stands to hold the ramp up to a shallower angle with motor cycle ramps to that.
count on useing at least a 3/4 ton truck for a tow rig. fully loaded trailer, jeep, tools, compressor, water, and what ever, i'm at about 10,000lbs of trailer weight .
but i love it. can't beat it.

Z,
I just saw a toy hauler for sale on HWY 18 going up to Big Bear. Looks like your 914 would fit in it.
Will try to get the phone# and a photo the next time I go up, if you are interested.

Mike: Carson makes a 20 for about 4K, as soon as you go over 24' they go up in price. I'm looking for a Sport Trailer, made in San Bernardino. I think for what I want thay are the best. I'm looking to spend around 8K. You should be able to find a really nice trailer for 4K.
