I have a 911 oil cooler converted to be used on a 914-6. I was told by some despot here on the boards that it was good to go. It wasn't good to go as I found our on initial start up of my conversion.
What is good to go is the Patrick Motorsports AN-16 fitting (a 95 dollar item alone.) easily removed with a cutoff wheel or Dremel and the female AN16 to male AN-12 turn-fitting that mates with the return oil line when made up with AN-12 hose. I tried to find the leak and use JB weld and TIG and neither saved the cooler.
I know this fitment will work as it did on my car / save the oil leak in the cooler.
Also, a creative individual could salvage the cooler's base plate and make a really handy oil cooler pressure tester.
I would like 50 bucks plus shipping costs to your zip if bought as a package. If I take off the patrick piece, I would take 75USD + shipping.
Please PM if interested.
