I think it is time to let go of my 914. It was great fun to build and to drive, but since the motor started giving me issues, I haven't had any time to treat it the way it deserves.
I hope one of you can get this running.

I restored this car with the intention of keeping it forever. I spent a lot of extra money that I won't ever get back with the idea that it wasn't for sale. (i.e. sourcing real Fuchs, and then spending $900 having them polished and chromed. Then capping them off with billet caps, and real chromed lugs)
Lots of you in So Cal have seen my car, the only difference is that the paint job has started to turn. I hope a polish can clean it up, but I honestly don't know. The motor issues started and I parked it and haven't had much time to work on it. Life is pulling hard in other directions. My honest assessment is that the car would need a respray, and a new long block and you will be set.
And now for some pictures! Everyone loves pictures!
The car is lowered. It obviously doesn't show in the jack stands, but it is.
I am putting it out there for $6,500 OBO, shoot me a offer.
And I know what you are asking.... Is that roll of duct tape/cup holder included, and the answer is yes!
Feel free to PM me any questions. The car is just east of LA in the La Puente area.
I am going to miss her
