I was just ripped off by John Howard of "autospares17". Started with "-- currently experiencing trouble with my PayPal account so please send the payment via ---" Probably same guy discuss earlier this week on this site

Trouble with my PayPal, dormant, please send moneygram, whatever gram, is an old scam. PayPal never "goes down". I'm sorry you got hit.

I've only been scammed one time on an internet purchase but that time, this time, and every other time I've heard of, it's been a guy with two first names...

I bought an item from Billy Bob in Fargo, ND.... and got it..

Ya people have called me Pete... Steve... whatever..
so I called my self Pete-Stevers just to add to the confusion...
Now lets get back to the scammer.. Who he is and what did or didnt he do!!

What ever you have.

These people are rotten to the core,makes me want to ,sorry to hear that keith ,my dealing with you were just fantastic,by the way your parts are on my car now,thanks.

Not much more useful info -- perhaps this, he requested payment via MoneyGram, which I am embarrassed to admit should have been an alarm

That picture is photoshopped. There were not that many cars there.

His name did not come up on a search.
