My headlights vibrate/bounce up and down.

What causes this? Loose actuator arm bushings? Mine are a tad loose, but are new ones tight? I can move them up and down about 1-2 mm by hand.

Is there some sort of screw or stop that can be adjusted?

I tried a quick search here but didn't really find anything. Haynes Manual didn't have anything.

Thanks!

Check to see if you have any water in your lenses. Mine did that and it went away when I drained the water out. The light vibration ended up being caused by reflections...not from something mechanical.

There is a bolt on the back of the headlight bucket that is used to prevent the headlights from shaking when open.

It is *not* a stop for the headlight motor!

- Turn off your headlights so they are in the down position

- Turn the bolt all the way out. It has a (double)nut to fasten it, so you may have to break that lose first.

- Turn on the headlights and wait until they are fully up

- Turn the bolt in by hand until it just slightly touches the tab on the headlight. This will keep the headlight from shaking.

- Fasten the (double) nut to hold the bolt in place
