Hi there
Bought a 1971 914 in November 2015 in Denver as a roller for a GT project and it has since been worked on in Utah. Never re-registered the title as we live in the UK. Have the bill of sale.
Now the certificate of title can't be found but we have a copy. We need to export the restored car to the UK. Usually we can do that with the old title document and bill of sale.
What's the best advice in terms of getting a new certificate of title to enable us to export it?
Thanks
Kate/Brian

Assuming the title was issued in Colorado, you'll need to contact Colorado Motor Vehicles to see how to request a replacement. I suspect you'll probably need to re-title it there in your name to get a fresh copy.

Can you try to contact the people whose name is on the title copy that you have to get you a replacement?
