How does that damn thing come off? Please hurry. My helper dude is leaving soon...

You disconnect the cable and the bolt and then work the handle off the pivot point. If its rusty, it'll need some WD40 and leverage.

Mine popped right off..yessirree..I only had to whack it with the BFM (big friendly malllet) a couple of times. blink.gif

I (he) got it off. PB blasted it. Wiggle, pry, wiggle, pry POP! Finally.

I was thinkin' there might be a c-clip on the lever point. Wrong...

I dont quite remeber when I first took my e brake off, but I really dont remember it being that hard.. I just put some Liquid wrench on it, and pry'd it off. Now removing and putting the lines back on a 19mm M/C, then looking on the ground and finding a nessicary washer for under the lines lying on the ground (AHHHHHHHHHH fighting19.gif )....

Follow-up question.

Any suggestions for putting one back on when the pivot point is loose.
