There is a secret to those "little" cars. Just throw it in a pool of good German beer and it will automatically expand to full size.

Make sure it's German beer. Skline put his in Propel and it turned into a Camry. beer.gif

Gustl,

Can you tell us who makes your 1/43 LE white 914? How limited are they? biggrin.gif

I have a few of the Revell 1/25 plastic kits in my collection of unbuilt kits. The quality of these Revell kits is not too good in my opinion, especially compared to a Tamiya or Fujimi kit. I bought them years ago when hobby shops were plentiful and old kits used to be discounted frequently. Now it seems hobby shops are fewer and bargains are harder to find. Everything has gone E-bay. sad.gif

the 914 police car is one part out from a Minichamps set
it's especially made for Porsche and only available via Porsche dealer - just the same as the chrome 914 from Minichamps
Porsche's part number is WAP 020 SET 08
it's limited to 5,000 sets
every set includes following police cars:

  • 356 C Cabriolet (1965)
  • 914/4 (1971)
  • 911T 2.4 (1979)
  • 911 Carrera 3.6 (1996)

I guess the year from the 911T 2.4 is not correct though

I was interested in the 914 only, so I bought it via eBay ...
