Left seat mount gave out today. I was getting out and the seat just tilted up to the side. I don't see any rust, it's only welded at the front and I guess after 47 years the flexing got to it. Click to view attachment

Replacements available new and used. Post in classifieds and you'll get one to weld in. Crazy how one broke that way.

The hinge pivot has been seized a long time and adjusting it up/down has been bending the pan metal, done enough times for it to fatigue and snap the metal.
RD has new ones.

I never tilt the seat. I do crank the belts down tight hundreds of times for AX. For now I'll probably weld the bracket and deal with real replacement in winter months.
