summit racing has these for sale. they are for bugs and I was wondering if the offset and backspacing will fit a 914. the picture also shows it as a 5lug set up I don't know if that's just a generic photo, is says it will fit a 4x130

I looked into those kind of wheels about 25 years ago while doing a budget resto, and they all had Beetle backspacing

I had them on a bug a few years ago. Weller wheels they're commonly known as.

My '82 Jeep CJ-7 had them as stock wheels.

I always think of those as offroad wheels. For VW's, lots of Baja Bugs had them.

If you like them, go for it. But, they look out of place to me.

Fake fuchs are the same price. Maybe $20 more counting the caps and bolts.

Over here they are commonly known as wagon wheels...at least in the truck/off-road world
