The first time I ran out of gas and Got vapor lock.
Any one got any good ideas?

Add gas, and keep your foot on the gas, to the floor, and roll it over.. should prime up, shortly.

May have someone tap on the fuel pump body with a tappy thing.. you have to burp the air back..

How 'bout you sucked a bunch of shit outta the tank and plugged your fuel filter?

That did happen, but only in cases as bad as mine is that generally a big problem.

Your car FI? Cycle the key for 2 seconds at a time until the sound in the fuel system goes away. You don't have vapor lock, you have a lack of fuel. If you have carbs, turn the key on for 15 seconds, pump the pedal once, and start it up ............ The CVap'n
