I have a 73 914 2.0 that needs transmission and clutch work. Is there someone in the Twin Cities area that works on 914s?
Dune Buggy Supply probably still does. They have a new location and owner. (Bill Jenkins passed away).
Sam is now the guy at dune buggy supply. Auto edge is a well known Pcar shop in the Mahtomedi/white bear lake area.
What do you need done? Can you drop the engine/trans and send it to Dr. Evil? Whats your timeline for repairs? I could possibly help.

Further Performance, great shop and they really know their old VW/Porsche stuff. They tuned my carbs. Highly recommended.

You may want to check Craig's list for a transmission sometimes they show up cheap and you may get lucky with a good working one.
