hi guys,

i'm working on a bike project and are looking for "bridged" rectangular tubing for a swing-arm design.

I have been googling high and low and can't find a source in the US.

Any advise where I can get in the US or Europe?

Thanks,
dc

You can try these guys but they might not have what you need. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/categories/b...e/aluminum.html

Extruded aluminum. Usually made to order for a specific purpose, like car bumpers.

You'll likely have to weld 2 normal stock tubes together.

The tube in the first pic is filleted. Most likely aircraft grade. The tube in the 2nd pic is not. Most likely non structural.

Aluminum Shapes in Montebello California.

Try them. Looks like you are looking for a custom extrusion. Something in their die lots should come close. T6 is a post hardened condition and may not be available on certain shapes.

Good luck.
