In an original car, did the carpet color of the front and rear trunks match the color of the cabin interior carpet? Or did all cars have a dark grayish carpet in the trunks, no matter the color in the cabin? Thanks.

Full Version: Original Carpet Color Question
All 914s 4 & 6 had the same grey perlon at F & R Trunks & on Targo Roof Liner.
There were dye lot batch color variances, & there may have been some differences in the Perlon over the 70-76 MYs.

Most were grey but especially with 6's, you could special order many things from Porsche. I saw one 6 with a leather interior that was stock from the factory.

Leather interior was a factory option on the 914-6s only.

Then would you all describe the grey of the trunk carpet as light grey, grey, or dark grey?
